Pestonya Shortcake Wanko is the Head Maid of the Great Tomb of Nazarick in Overlord and one of its Area Guardians. She has the body of a beautiful woman and the head of a Shetland Sheepdog, with a vertical scar running down the middle of her face where it has been stitched. She is loyal to Nazarick and motherly toward those under her, and she is one of the few there who holds no contempt for humans; she and Nigredo both refuse to take part in killing innocents. She works at the dignity her position calls for, which her tail undercuts by wagging whenever she is praised.
