The Nobility Faction is one of the two political blocs of the Re-Estize Kingdom in Overlord. It is made up of nobles who swear loyalty to the royal family in name while all but openly playing for power in practice, and it stands against the Royalty Faction in a struggle neither side can settle. The Baharuth Empire times its invasions to the harvest of the late ripening wheat, pulling hands out of the villages and delaying the grain, which weakens the Kingdom and the crown without the cost of a full scale invasion. The nobles pay the consequences no heed and are pleased to watch their rivals lose influence, without following the arithmetic to its end.
