Nine's Own Goal

Nine's Own Goal is a clan of heteromorphs in YGGDRASIL, the game at the center of Overlord, and the direct precursor of the guild Ainz Ooal Gown. In the early days of YGGDRASIL, hunting heteromorphic players was in fashion, since several strong job classes required killing a set number of them to qualify for entry, so heteromorph players kept to the three worlds that favored them, Niflheim, Helheim and Múspellsheim, and refused to travel elsewhere. Most were content to stay hidden. A few banded together to explore the game in spite of the persecution, and those were the ones Touch Me gathered into the Original Nine, whose classes ran from paladin and swordmaster to priest, assassin, two-sword ninja, sorcerer, chef and blacksmith. The clan met weekly to trade information and requests for help, then formed a party to carry them out.
