Magician's Guild

The Magician's Guild is an association of magic casters with a branch in each city of the Re-Estize Kingdom in Overlord. Its business is the study of magic: it conducts magical research and produces magical equipment, which keeps such items sought after and expensive enough that few can buy them. Adventurers rely on its goods and services, and the Adventurer's Guild is a close ally as a result. Each branch has its own guild master, and how they answer to one another is unclear. The work runs to developing new spells and training arcane casters, and enchanters are counted among the membership. Every new magic caster has to register with the guild. Because the guild takes no administrative fee beyond the yearly dues, members sell directly to clients without a retailer's markup.
