Inspector

The Inspector is an official of the Free City of Vadis in Overlord, known by that title rather than by a name. He is a priest, and the work of an inspector is to count the undead killed out on the Katze Plains and guarantee that the matching subjugation fee is properly paid. Little is described of his appearance beyond the breast pockets on his clothes. He has made the trip into the plains often enough to show no fear on setting foot there, though he sets a high value on his own life and has no inclination to assist the workers he travels with.
