Hamsuke
Hamsuke in Overlord is a giant hamster of the southern Great Forest of Tob, known to the surrounding lands by two centuries of rumor as the Wise King of the Forest, a magic beast few claim to have seen.
Rumor rules the southern Great Forest of Tob, and the rumor has a name: the Wise King of the Forest. Villagers and adventurers describe a magic-wielding monster of great power, a four-legged, silverish white beast with a snake-like tail, sighted rarely and said to be centuries old; the people of Carne Village credit its presence with keeping worse monsters away from their homes, and talk of the creature reaches back some two hundred years.
The being behind the tales is Hamsuke, a giant hamster with a serpent's tail and six sigils dotting her silvery fur, living alone in the deep woods with no others of her kind. She speaks in a distinctive inverted syntax, and the adventurer Momon sets out into her territory to find the beast behind the name.
