Gustav Montagnés

Gustav Montagnés (グスターボ・モンタニェス) serves in the Paladin Order of the Roble Holy Kingdom as adjutant to its Grandmaster, Remedios Custodio. He is a middle-aged man with light greyish brown hair and a small goatee. Like most paladins he has no love for the undead, yet he keeps his composure and can be diplomatic when a situation calls for it, and he is practical about problems that admit no clean answer. Much of his work is advisory, since Remedios has little head for strategy and he supplies it while keeping her temper in check. As a swordsman he is only average by the Order's standards, though stronger than the common paladin, and of its two deputy commanders he is the one closer to ordinary people. He would like to learn divine magic, partly to do something about his stomach cramps, and he keeps two Bunnia at home as pets.
