Grim Reaper (死神) is an unidentified enemy that comes out of the Chaos Zone in Mass for the Dead. It is a looming, spectral figure in a velvet robe with a wavy white collar, its face blank as a mask and an iron spiked halo standing up behind its neck; the only parts left uncovered are the head, a narrow bandaged midsection and limbs that look mechanical. It carries a tall scythe with some mechanism built into it. It never speaks and shows almost nothing that could be called personality, and nothing is known of where it came from. It can step between dimensions and travel through a Crack to reach whatever it is after, unhindered by the interference the Cracks otherwise cause to spatial magic, and it can halt time within an area for as much as an hour, which lets it appear and vanish at will. Even without that, it flies fast.
