Go Gin

Go Gin is a war troll in Overlord, champion of the imperial arena in the Baharuth Empire and the eighth generation to hold the title of Martial Lord. He is enormous and fights in heavy full plate. Unlike most of his kind he is intelligent and level headed, and he has never killed an opponent willing to put down his weapon. His vocabulary was thin when he first came among humans; years in the Empire have left him able to hold a fluent conversation. Ten years or so ago he was the monster rumored to prowl the Empire's outskirts, and Fluder Paradyne was sent to deal with him, until Osk reached the frontier first, found him training to make himself stronger and recruited him for the arena. He is reckoned the strongest Martial Lord in the Empire's history and is not satisfied with it, crediting his record to the advantages of his race and looking for an opponent worth the name.
