One of the Six Great Nobles of the Re-Estize Kingdom and the most powerful among them, a pale, snakelike marquis known for playing both factions, and a doting father since the birth of his son.
Elias Brandt Dale Raeven (エリアス・ブラント・デイル・レエブン) is a great noble of the Re-Estize Kingdom, and among the Six Great Nobles he commands the highest authority. He is tall and thin with blonde hair slicked back, pale to the point of looking unwell, and narrow blue eyes that with the pallor give him something snakelike; Gazef Stronoff puts him at older than his years on the strength of it. His clothes are the best money can buy, a fur doublet shot with gold thread, patterned and set with small jewels. He is careful and quick and calculating enough that people take him for cold, and he is known as an opportunist who works with the royalty and the nobility by turns as it suits him. He carries more of the Kingdom's weight than his office implies, and the strain of it tells. He set his own ambitions for the crown aside when his son Rii-tan was born, and it is only around the boy that the public manner comes off entirely.
