The Demonic Disturbance is an attack on the royal capital of the Re-Estize Kingdom in Overlord, carried out by an army of demons under a demon named Jaldabaoth. A wall of flame thirty meters high seals off the northeastern corner of the city, enclosing the warehouses and shops that make up the Kingdom's commercial heart. Princess Renner directs the response from Ro-Lente Castle, briefing the adventurers gathered in the capital and arranging them into a battle line backed by guards, priests and magic casters, while a smaller group is sent inside the firewall to reach the civilians the demons have taken.
