Davernoch (デイバーノック) is one of Six Arms, the security arm of the criminal organization Eight Fingers. He is an elder lich that spawned of its own accord, and he keeps himself covered head to foot in a red robe. The hatred of the living that runs through his kind runs through him too, but he is among the few with wit enough to hold it down, since company he can work alongside is company he can learn from. Magic is his whole ambition. He set out to master the spells he could not cast when he first rose, and then to pick up skills beyond magic as well, funding the study by preying on travellers on the roads, which brought the local adventurers down on him. A stretch disguised among mercenaries ended the same way once his affinity for magic gave him away. It was Zero who found him a place, trading lessons and money for his service.
