The elders who govern a dark elf village in Overlord, seated by age and judged wisdom.
The Council of Elders governs one of the dark elf villages of Overlord. Councils like it are among the pillars of authority in elven villages, alongside the Master of the Hunt, the Chief Pharmacist and the Rite Master, and a seat goes to the eldest of the village, those judged to have gathered wisdom over their years. Here that arrangement is under pressure from the Youth Faction, young dark elves who hold that ability alone should decide who leads and who call on elders of no outstanding ability to give up their roles. The dispute stays short of open conflict because the young respect four figures of the village, among them the Master of the Hunt, Apple, and Blueberry Egnia, none of whom wish to oppose the elders.
