Captain of the Black Scripture

The Captain of the Black Scripture is the leader and 1st Seat of the Black Scripture, one of the Slane Theocracy's Six Scriptures in Overlord. He has the androgynous features of a young man, with long black hair and sharp red eyes, wears ornate armor and carries a humble-looking spear. By his own account the face he shows is not the one he was born with: a mask alters it, and the man underneath is not yet twenty. He is dutiful, takes the command seriously, and allows himself no room to slack at it. Away from the work he keeps something of a double life, sitting through match-making sessions to choose a bride at the request of the Theocracy's high officials, who want more God-kin born for the country's future.
