Barbro Andrean Ield Ryle Vaiself is the Crown Prince of the Re-Estize Kingdom in Overlord and the eldest son of King Ramposa III. He is large in build and of respectable stature, and he competes with his half brother over the throne. A spoiled upbringing has left him haughty and domineering. He holds that the people of the kingdom owe him their service as a matter of divine right, expects every order followed regardless of its cost or whether it can be done at all, and treats any failure to comply as an insult to himself. He disregards anything that does not touch him, the wellbeing of his own men included, and his temper turns quickly and out of all proportion when a situation does not go the way he wants. In the future he pictures for himself he sits the throne with the nobles bowing to him, and he holds no loyalty to anyone but himself.
