The Azerlisia Mountains in Overlord are the range dividing the Re-Estize Kingdom from the Baharuth Empire, home to frost dragons, frost giants, eighty thousand Quagoa, and the hidden Dwarf Kingdom.
A single mountain range divides the two great rivals of Overlord's early volumes. The Azerlisia Mountains stand as the natural border between the Re-Estize Kingdom and the Baharuth Empire, with the Great Forest of Tob spreading over their southern foothills and an enormous ladle-shaped lake lying between range and forest.
The heights belong to monsters: frost giants and frost dragons reign as the range's apex predators, locked in a long struggle over which stands above the other, with a colony of frost dragons said to live toward the north. Underground, some eighty thousand Quagoa, mole-like demi-humans divided into eight clans beneath a single Clan Lord, tunnel through the caverns, and the earthen halls of the Dwarf Kingdom lie hidden in the same depths, a location absent from common maps.
