Actor

Actor, or Actress, is a job class native to the New World in Overlord, though a person can be recognized as one without holding the class at all. It covers those who put up a facade and make it believable, presenting themselves as the ideal person they want to be taken for and keeping their honest self out of sight. What an observer reads as true in an actor's behavior is deception, meant to cover the person underneath completely. In the New World the idea overlaps heavily with spies, who play whatever role they are handed without being caught at it, and no class is needed for that suspicion to fall on someone.
