Abelion Hills

The Abelion Hills are a stretch of wild hill country in Overlord, lying between the Slane Theocracy and the Roble Holy Kingdom and populated by demi-humans of every kind. They rarely cooperate, fighting one another over territory more often than not, apart from arrangements such as the ogres who keep goblins as slaves, and raids out of the hills are constant enough that the Holy Kingdom built the longest wall on the continent to hold them back. The Slane Theocracy has mounted repeated campaigns to clear the region and has never done more than thin the population for a time. The Re-Estize Kingdom knows almost nothing of the place, since adventurers sent in from the Kingdom have not come back in one piece. The best known figure to come out of the hills is Buser, a Bafolk called the King of the Demi-humans, who united the Bafolk tribes and subdued many others.
