The War Machine Armor: Mark V, also called the Cosmic Iron Patriot Armor, is the fifth suit of powered armor issued to James Rhodes. Built between 2016 and 2023 and upgraded with alien technology, it is larger and bulkier than the suits before it and carries a distinct color scheme, leaning on the blue and red tones of the Iron Patriot armor. It is kept in storage at the Avengers Compound. The suit amplifies the pilot's strength, adds durability, speed, and stamina, and its heads up display lets Rhodes react to threats far faster than he could unaided.
