War Machine Armor: Mark I

The War Machine Armor: Mark I, designated the JRXL-1000 Variable Threat Response Battle Suit, is the first armor flown by James Rhodes. It began life as Tony Stark's silver Mark II prototype; Rhodes seized it when he judged that the armor, and his spiraling friend, had become a danger left unattended, and delivered it to the United States Air Force. There the suit passed to defense contractor Justin Hammer, whose engineers bolted on an arsenal: bullpup rifles fixed to each forearm, a grenade launcher, a shoulder-mounted bunker-busting missile marketed as the Ex-Wife, and its signature weapon, a six-barreled machine gun riding an articulated arm on its back for near-total coverage. The result is the heaviest-armed suit of its generation, a repulsor-powered walking weapons platform.
