Tom Weems

Thomas Weems, called Tom, joined the United States Marine Corps in 1999. His first tour was in Peshawar and it earned him a Medal of Honor, a tour in Iraq brought a promotion to Chief Petty Officer and an assignment to the Special Operations Division under Jason Miller, and several tours in Iran followed before he retired in 2009. He signed with Anvil after that, under Billy Russo, and went back to Iraq on a contract guarding American diplomats alongside Mike Bashille, Spencer Geiger and Jim Pruitt. Civilians were killed in public on that job and the footage went online. A State Department warrant followed, and Weems has been off Anvil's books and out of sight since. His own account of it is that they did what they were paid to do.
