Ta Lo is a dimension within the Multiverse, reached through a portal on Earth, in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. The way in is protected by a bamboo forest that constantly rearranges itself, and it opens a safe path only once a year. Past the forest and a waterfall gateway sits a village whose people have lived there for thousands of years, alongside creatures found nowhere else: the Dijiang, the Fenghuang, the Jiu Wei Hu, the Qilin, the Shishi, and the Great Protector. Its people keep watch over a gate at the edge of their land.
