Svartalfheim

Svartálfheim is one of the Nine Realms and the home of the Dark Elves. Asgardians and the other peoples of the realms call it the Dark World, while the Dark Elves themselves call it Harudheen. Its star system is almost entirely corroded with dark matter, so the realm and the elves who live there developed under a wider table of elements than most worlds, and a black hole is its only source of visible light. In Thor: The Dark World it is a desolate wasteland, its landscape dotted with the wreckage of an ancient war.
