The Stark Heat Vest is a prototype body armor built by Howard Stark, intended to double as a heat source for troops through the winter months on the Western Front. Locking the armor closed activated a battery that powered an internal heating element. Its energy source was badly flawed and overheated with explosive results, so the vest never reached production.
