SERPENT, also known as the Serpent Society, is a criminal mercenary organization led by Sidewinder. Its members work as a paid unit, hired to steal high-value technology and materials and to hold a position until a buyer arrives, and they take code names drawn from snakes, Copperhead among them. They operate with military equipment and explosives, and they forge weapons out of the material they take.
