Seema Nadeem

Money is the pressure on the Nadeem household. Seema is married to Ray Nadeem, an agent with the FBI, and they have a son, Sami. Paying for Saanvi Nadeem's cancer treatment put the family into debt they have not climbed back out of, and Seema's card is declined while she is buying for her own son's birthday party. She offers to take a second job and her husband will not hear of it. She is direct with him in a way most people around him are not: when a promotion comes through she throws him a surprise party, makes the toast, and then takes him aside to tell him she knows he has not been straight with her.
