The Inhuman Outbreak upended Sammy's quiet life in Hawaii: Terrigen spreading through the environment triggered Terrigenesis in people who never knew they carried Inhuman genes, and Sammy emerged from his husk able to heat anything he touches. With no way to control the new power, he accidentally set his own house on fire, a disaster that cost him his family and his freedom. Arrested for the blaze, he was locked up in the Oahu County Correctional Facility, an ordinary prisoner carrying a very unordinary secret.
