Sadie Deever

Agent Sadie Deever works for the United States Department of Damage Control, and she is not the sit-at-a-desk kind of federal agent. When video circulates of an unidentified girl throwing glowing constructs of light at AvengerCon, the internet calls the new hero Night Light and Deever calls her a case. With authorization from her superior, P. Cleary, she opens an investigation and interrogates a witness who met the girl, reading one detail out of the interview: the hero may be South Asian. On that thread, the Department puts Jersey City's community centers, temples and mosques under watch, with Deever running the ground game.
