Rosalie Carbone

Rosalie Carbone runs the Carbone Crime Family with a piece of unfinished business at the front of her mind. She was born on Pleasant Avenue in East Harlem, back when the neighborhood was still largely Italian, and she grew up watching her father move on Harlem's Paradise and the Stokes family who held it, and come away with nothing. Finishing that is the ambition she inherited. Among New York's bosses she gets handled carefully: she keeps her own family apart from the rest of them, which the others read as coldness, and she knows how to work a room full of people who all want the same few blocks. The Red Fish Blue Restaurant is one of hers.
