Rand Enterprises

Rand Enterprises is an international corporation worth billions, headquartered in New York City and reaching into chemicals, cybernetics and pharmaceuticals, with the Roxxon Corporation among its longstanding rivals. It was built by two men, Wendell Rand and Harold Meachum, and it outlived its builders' partnership in the hardest way: Wendell Rand's chartered plane went down in the Himalayas with his wife and young son aboard, and control of the company eventually passed to Harold Meachum's children, Ward and Joy. Fifteen years after the crash, a man walked into the lobby and introduced himself as Danny Rand, the boy the world had declared legally dead.
