Phyla

Phyla began her existence as a fish. The High Evolutionary changed that, as he changed so many living things, remaking her into a humanoid child, one of the Star Children he engineered as another attempt at his perfect society. Her whole early life happens in captivity aboard his laboratory vessel, among the other children, with whom she shares a private language. The engineering left its marks: she can run for hours without tiring, gets by on almost no food or sleep, walks up vertical surfaces, and can gather cosmic energy into spheres of purple light around her fists.
