Osiris is the leader of the Ennead Council in Moon Knight, the Egyptian god who upholds the pantheon's rule of observing humanity without interference, represented on Earth by his avatar Selim.
Osiris is an Egyptian god and the leader of the Ennead Council. The Ennead are the great gods of Egypt, and in the world of Moon Knight they have withdrawn from direct involvement with humanity, holding that gods should observe the human world rather than interfere with it. As the council's leader, Osiris enforces that principle. Like the other Ennead he keeps his presence on Earth through a chosen human representative, his avatar Selim, through whom he can speak and act when the council convenes. The series sets this hidden order of gods and avatars behind its story of Steven Grant, a London museum worker whose life is entangled with the moon god Khonshu.
