Nova Empire

The Nova Empire is an interstellar hegemony covering a sizeable portion of the galaxy, made up of many species and holding them under a rule that is strict and still generally described as a benevolent one. The Xandarians founded it and run it from Xandar, which is both their homeworld and the seat of the entire government, and the Nova Corps serves as the Empire's military and its police at once. Among the other peoples inside it are the pink skinned Krylorians, whose beauty is known across the galaxy; the Hurctarians, pointy eared and fitted with cybernetic scalp implants where hair would be; the tentacled A'askavariians with their needle teeth; and the yellow skinned Aakons, who turn up as civilians and as Nova Corps operatives both. A war with the Kree Empire of Hala ran for more than a thousand years before a peace agreement was reached in 2014.
