Norex is a Skrull scientist, chief science officer of the shapeshifters' forces under the commander Talos and his trusted second-in-command. Locked in a long war with the Kree Empire, the Skrulls prize Norex's technical mind: he leads the search for a hidden laboratory said to hold technology of enormous value, including work on a light-speed engine. Like all his kind he can sim another being's appearance and voice after only a glimpse, an infiltrator's gift that makes any face in a crowd potentially a Skrull, though a sim's borrowed memories run only skin deep.
