The leader of the Clandestines, exiles from the Noor Dimension stranded on Earth since before 1942.
Najma leads the Clandestines, a handful of exiles from another plane of existence who have been stranded on Earth for the better part of a century. Her home is the Noor Dimension, and exile cut her off from most of what she was: on Earth her powers are dimmed, though the Noor within her slows her aging so little time seems to touch her at all. In 1942 she and her companions traced one of a pair of bangles to a temple in India, and lost one of their own, Aisha, in the chaos of the raid that followed. Najma has been searching ever since, for the bangle, for the way home, and she has raised her son Kamran inside that long errand.
