Lonnie Wilson

Lonnie Wilson is a Harlem kid and a regular in Pop's chair at Pop's Barber Shop, where the grown men argue over his head while Pop works and then apologizes to him for the language. He does not mind the language. His mother, Patricia Wilson, turns up to collect him and keep him to his schedule, Kumon in the evenings and chess club at school, and he does not always get out of the chair when she first tells him to. She is close to qualifying as a lawyer. He also has to stand around waiting while she takes her time flirting with one of the other customers.
