Lionel McCoy is a drug dealer who grew up in Hell's Kitchen under the name Ray.
A drug dealer now, Lionel McCoy grew up in Hell's Kitchen, where the neighborhood knew him as Ray. Home was an abusive father and a mother, Suzanne, who drank until cirrhosis killed her, and Lionel took the worst of it on purpose so that his brother Connor could have something closer to a normal childhood alongside him. What he took at home he handed out on the block. Foggy Nelson lived nearby and was Connor's friend, which made him McCoy's target: he called him Foggy the Fembot and made him clean his sneakers.
