Lei Kung

Lei Kung is an elder monk of the Order of the Crane Mother and one of the most honored warriors in K'un-Lun, which is where the title he carries comes from: the Thunderer. He and Priya have a son, Davos, and he has trained the boy without mercy toward becoming the next Iron Fist, K'un-Lun's sworn defender. When Chodak and Tashi bring an outsider named Danny Rand through the gate, most of the Order looks at the boy with suspicion and Lei Kung reads him as a sign instead, takes him in, and raises and trains him alongside Davos. His teaching runs practical. Insects are protein, so trainees eat worms and crickets, and the way through a temper is to break rocks with bare hands.
