Kurt Goreshter is a professional cybercriminal, Russian-born and American-convicted, with five years in Folsom State Prison on his record. He rooms at Luis' apartment along with their friend Dave, and in that crew Goreshter is the technical half: when there is a job on, he is the one who makes alarm systems and cameras decide to look the other way. He is present, quietly assessing, on the day Luis introduces the crew to Scott Lang, a burglar fresh out of San Quentin who insists, to general disappointment, that he is done with crime and wants an honest job.
