Algrim is Malekith's lieutenant and the last man in the Dark Elf ranks to question an order. He fought in the war the Dark Elves waged on the Nine Realms during an earlier Convergence, when Malekith meant to loose the Aether and the Asgardians under King Bor came to stop him, and it was Algrim who commanded the Dark Elf army in the field and sent the Kursed forward: soldiers remade by a stone into something larger and harder than a Dark Elf, at a price their own side was willing to pay. He is one of the few of his people left when that war ends, and he has spent the five thousand years since in a hibernation cell aboard the Ark. Shiväisith is his language.
