For fifty years, Karun Patel has been the personal valet, assistant, and occasional cameraman of Kingo, one of Bollywood's biggest film stars. He is also one of the very few people who know his employer's secret: Kingo does not age, because he is an Eternal, a near-immortal being who has lived among humans for thousands of years. Their first meeting, half a century ago, went famously badly, as Patel concluded the ageless star must be a vampire and tried to drive a stake through his heart. Kingo forgave him, and Patel has served him ever since with unshakable devotion and courtly good manners, managing his career and filming the vlogs his boss loves to star in.
