J.A.R.V.I.S.

Tony Stark's house and workshop run on a conversational computer system he calls J.A.R.V.I.S., short for Just A Rather Very Intelligent System. It answers out loud, in a dry English voice, and it does far more than take dictation: it manages the mansion, handles routine Stark Industries business and security, models parts on the workshop holotable, runs simulations and estimates how long a build will take. When Stark puts an armor together, the system goes into the suit with him, calling out power reserves, altitude and icing limits, atmospheric readings and damage as it happens. Most of what gets invented in that basement happens as an argument between the two of them.
