Codenamed Hammerhead, the Iron Man Armor: Mark XXXVII is Tony Stark's deep sea suit, built with thick reinforced plating, its own oxygen supply, work lights, turbines and torpedoes.
The Iron Man Armor: Mark XXXVII, codenamed Hammerhead and also known as the Deep Sea Suit, is the thirty-seventh suit built by Tony Stark and the one designed for work at depth. It holds a sealed interior at normal atmospheric pressure while the ocean presses in, using much thicker reinforced plating than its siblings, which gives the torso and limbs a stout, bulky look, and large ball joints at the shoulders, elbows, knees and ankles to close the space between sections. The suit manages its own buoyancy so it can descend, stay down for long stretches and rise again, carries an internal oxygen supply, and runs high-power work lights for depths daylight cannot reach. A pair of turbines on the upper back drives it through water, and torpedoes serve as its main weapon below the surface. It is one of the armors of the Iron Legion in Iron Man 3.
