The Iron Man Armor: Mark XLVIII, better known as Hulkbuster 2.0, is Tony Stark's forty-eighth suit of armor and the successor to the original Hulkbuster. Like its predecessor, it exists for a single sobering contingency: subduing and restraining the Hulk. It is a towering heavy-frame suit powered by multiple Arc Reactors, strong and durable far beyond the standard armors, with red-tinted repulsors, collapsible plating that lets a user step in and out at will, and modular sections that can detach, fly independently, and reattach to repair the suit mid-fight. The bulk costs it speed and range in the air, a trade made gladly for a machine meant to wrestle the strongest creature on Earth.
