Iron Man Armor: Mark VII

The Mark VII is the point at which the Iron Man armor stops needing a workshop. It is Stark's seventh suit and the first built to deploy and assemble itself: bracelets on the wearer's wrists tell it where to go, and it comes, wrapping on in mid-air if that is what the moment calls for. Out of use it folds down into a cylindrical unit rather than standing there as a suit. Everything learned across the first six iterations is consolidated in it, with the flight system considerably expanded by an extra pair of thrusters and the armament rebuilt around that: palm repulsors, a chest uni-beam returned to a circular aperture after the triangular one before it, an improved hand-mounted laser, guided air-to-air missiles stowed in the shoulders and forearms, and flare launchers at the hips.
