Doctor Helen Cho is a geneticist with a world-class reputation and the leader of the U-GIN Research Group, working out of Seoul. Her signature invention is the Regeneration Cradle, a machine that grows living tissue directly onto a wound, and it does not deal in convalescence: when the Avengers bring her a badly injured Clint Barton, the Cradle rebuilds his ruined flank in minutes and leaves him joking about living forever. Cho moves comfortably in that company, an ally the team trusts with its bodies, welcome in Bruce Banner's lab and at the parties upstairs alike.
