Grotto

Elliot Grote goes by Grotto, and he sits at the bottom of the Kitchen Irish. The crew uses him for the jobs it would rather not have traced back, and he takes the work along with the ribbing that comes with it: at the Burren Club he is the one fetching a whiskey for Nesbitt while the others make jokes about it. He is a decent shot and short on nerve. Something about the life is eating at him. Every Sunday he turns up at Clinton Church and puts something into the offering, cash usually, once a Rolex, on the understanding that redemption might work like a payment plan.
