Groot

Groot is a Flora colossus, a walking tree-like being and a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy, seen as a growing sapling aboard the Milano in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. After the Nova Corps hands the crew a new Milano, the tiny Groot passes his days in a pot on a table, slowly putting on size, and dances to a Jackson 5 record behind Drax the Destroyer while Drax cleans and sharpens his knives, freezing in place every time Drax turns around. He can stretch his limbs to catch hold of pipes well above him and swing himself across a room, and he works out that he has legs rather than roots by running laps around the table.
