Gillian

Gillian is the assistant at Alias Investigations, which in practice means she is the entire office staff. She takes the calls, chases down the background on whoever the case is about, and hands out advice on her employer's personal life whether or not it was asked for. Jessica Jones is rude to her and she stays anyway, partly because it does not land and partly because somebody has to keep the place level. She has taken to adding a line about her boss's superheroism to the end of phone calls, purely for the groan it produces. Her watch tells her when her shift is over, and when it is over she goes.
