Among the core members of the Flag Smashers is Gigi, one of the masked fighters who carry out the movement's operations in the field. The Flag Smashers reject a world of hardened borders, and they act on it, robbing banks, hijacking vaccine shipments, and redirecting supplies to displaced people the world's governments have stopped looking after. Gigi has the strength of a super soldier, enough to pin a trained fighter or keep her footing in a brawl on top of a moving truck, and she pairs it with a cool head, hers being the voice that urges the others to keep moving when a job threatens to go loud. Like the rest of the inner circle, she follows Karli Morgenthau, the young leader who holds the movement together.
